The 2012 Africa Cup of Nations kicks of tomorrow, January 21st, with Gabon and Equatorial Guinea as this year’s host nations. 
Sixteen teams will be playing for this year’s title and out that number, three of them will be making their debut appearances at the tournament since it started: Equatorial Guinea, Botswana and Niger.
Ghana is the team with the most titles having won in 1963, 1965, 1978, 1982. Other teams that have won in previous years are Sudan (1970), Tunisia (2004), Ivory Coast/Cote D’Ivoire (1992) and Morocco in (1976). 
Depending on where you are, you can watch the matches live on the official site. Libya and Equatorial Guinea will be playing the opening match at Estadio de Bata in Equatorial Guinea at 19:30 West African Time (UTC+01).
